ChainBETs.win — Player Statement on Identity Verification, Anti-Money-Laundering, and Sanctions Screening

Version 1.0 — June 2026 Last updated: 29.06.2026

1. Why this statement exists

We are licensed by the Government of Anjouan and operate under its anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorism-financing, and sanctions framework. Those rules — together with the FATF recommendations they rely on — require us to know who our players are, to refuse funds linked to sanctioned or criminal sources, and to keep records that prove we did both. This statement summarises what that means for you as a player. The full operational procedure is in our internal AML/KYC Policy, which is shared with the regulator and our independent auditor on request.

2. Identity verification

You can use the Platform without identifying yourself for low-value play. Once your cumulative activity crosses a defined threshold — set by the operator under the licence and currently in the range of 1,000 USDT of unclaimed winnings or recent claims in a rolling 30-day window — we ask you to complete identity verification before further payouts.

Verification happens through our regulated identity-verification partner. You will be asked for:

  • A government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID, or driver's licence)
  • A short selfie video for liveness and face-match
  • The provider then runs an automated check against sanctions lists, politically-exposed-person databases, and adverse-media sources

We do not handle your raw ID document — it stays with the verification provider, who is contractually bound to apply the same standards we are. We store only the verified result and the document hash needed to prove the verification happened.

If you control more than one wallet, identity verification on one of them links the wallets together (through biometric face-match) and the verified status applies to all of them automatically. You do not need to verify each wallet separately.

3. Source-of-funds and on-chain screening

Because the Platform is non-custodial — you keep your USDT in your own wallet at all times — we cannot inspect your funds the way a custodial casino would. Instead, every time you place a ticket, we screen the on-chain addresses that funded your wallet against a chain-analytics database. Funds arriving from sanctioned addresses, mixers, ransomware-linked addresses, or other prohibited sources are blocked at the point of purchase, and the case is escalated to our Compliance Officer for review.

Funds from regulated exchanges, on-ramp providers, decentralised exchanges, payment processors, and ordinary self-custody wallets pass without friction. The Platform is screening the source, not your willingness to play.

4. Enhanced Due Diligence

For higher-value activity, players flagged as politically-exposed-persons, players in higher-risk jurisdictions, or players whose pattern of play triggers our risk model, we may ask additional questions about your source of funds. This is Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and is performed through a short questionnaire via our verification partner. EDD outcomes are reviewed by the Compliance Officer; until cleared, further claims may be paused.

5. Records and retention

We keep the verified identity record, the result of the AML / sanctions / PEP screening, the source-of-funds screening evidence, and our Compliance Officer's review decisions for a minimum of 5 years after your last activity on the Platform. The records sit in an append-only structure at the database level — they can be added to, never modified or deleted after the fact, which is how the regulator and an auditor can rely on them.

Documents you uploaded for verification (passport scan, selfie) are kept by our verification provider and mirrored in our own encrypted document store. Both copies are retained for the same 5-year window.

6. Sanctions, prohibited jurisdictions, and refusal of service

The Platform refuses service to:

  • Anyone present in or a citizen of a sanctioned jurisdiction
  • Anyone whose wallet or funding source matches a current sanctions designation (OFAC SDN, EU consolidated, UN)
  • Anyone whose verification reveals a deliberate attempt to falsify identity, including the use of stolen documents or a face that already verifies to a different identity in our system
  • Anyone under the age of 18 (or higher local age) — see our Responsible Gaming policy

Refusal of service is final, with a documented reason; the player has the right to challenge the refusal through our Complaints process and onward to our independent ADR provider.

7. What we will not do

We will not sell your verification data, share it with marketing partners, or use it for any purpose other than the AML / KYC / regulatory record-keeping described here. Our Privacy Policy sets out your data-protection rights in full.

We will not freeze player funds outside the specific situations the law requires us to (sanctions hit, ongoing criminal investigation by a competent authority, court order). The Platform's non-custodial design also makes most freezing actions structurally impossible — your funds live in your wallet, not ours.

8. Contact

If you have questions about your verification, a screening hit, or a record we hold about you, contact [email protected]. Privacy-specific requests (access, correction, deletion under the limits in our Privacy Policy) go to [email protected].
